Employers today are facing a major employee benefits problem. They are trying to find ways to cut costs, while also meeting and exceeding goals for their employee benefits program. In the past, employers had to choose between cutting costs or providing their employees with a fantastic benefits package, but not anymore.
HSAs (Health Savings Accounts) are the solution that employers have been looking for!
Health Savings Accounts provide employers and employees the opportunity to get on the same page about health insurance and health care spending. Employers provide a way for employees to contribute and save for their health care through using pre-tax money from their pay check. Employers can contribute too! There is a limit on the amount of contributions employees and employers can make (check with your benefits administrator or the IRS website for more info), as well as what the money can be spent on.
